Switched off it is a plain sitting cat, upright and alert. Switched on, a full skeleton appears through the body — ribs, spine, pelvis, leg bones and a skull behind the face — printed into the wall thickness so it only shows when the light is behind it.

It sits on a dark base cut with a row of arches, which stays solid while the cat above it glows. The reveal is the whole trick, so give it somewhere it can be switched on in a dim room.
